The MUGA protocol for processing gated planar data included in UniSyn MI provides a simple and efficient workflow for characterizing left-ventricular function. Starting with an LV region-of-interest (ROI)a at diastole, UniSyn will quickly stack to systole gate where you can draw another ROI. An automatic interpolation takes places between the ROIs at these two gates to determine the ROIs for the remaining gates and the overall time-activity curve. Automatic and manual background subtraction are also supported.
Displays phase and amplitude images and the phase histogram.
Automatically calculates LV ejection fraction and diastolic and systolic LV volumes.
Calculates peak filling and emptying rates from first-derivate time-activity curve.
Single-click report generation is supported via DICOM screen capture.
